Gone Phishing Charter Trips and Rates
Two Rivers, One Season. Here's How It Works.
Captain Gravatt follows the fish. That's the short version.
Every April, walleye season on the St. Marys River is still closed. It doesn't open until May 15.
So Captain Gravatt heads south to the Detroit River near Wyandotte, where the spring walleye run is already firing.
He runs charters there through the first week of May, then returns north to Sault Ste. Marie for the rest of the season.
The result is a guide who is actively fishing productive water every single week of the season, not waiting around for conditions to change.
Both fisheries are covered below. Choose the one that fits your timing, or book both.
